Bronwyn and John’s wedding at Fitzroy Inn in Mittagong was pure magic. They planned an intimate celebration, surrounded by their closest family and friends, and it was the kind of day you just feel lucky to be a part of. With a stunning spring day as the backdrop, the historic Fitzroy Inn looked incredible, with flowers in full bloom and the sun lighting up every corner of the garden. The heartfelt ceremony was officiated by the lovely Andrea Calodolce, who brought warmth and a personal touch to every moment. There were definitely a few happy tears as Bronwyn and John exchanged vows in front of the gazebo, both of them absolutely beaming with love.
One of the highlights was seeing both families come together, completely embracing each other’s partners like they’d been family forever—it was really something special. Bronwyn’s smile was radiant from start to finish, and you could see how much joy she and John brought each other. From the emotional vows to the meaningful looks they shared, their love was unmistakable, and it lit up the entire celebration. Some of the most memorable moments came later in the day, with speeches from Naomi and Lily that had everyone reaching for tissues. Those heartfelt words captured what Bronwyn and John meant to them perfectly, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
But it wasn’t all tears. For a bit of fun, Bronwyn and John decided to smash their beautiful croquembouche tower with a bottle of champagne—not something I’ve seen before! Watching them break that dessert together was a really fun way to end the formalities, just before everyone hit the dance floor. It was the perfect mix of laughter and love, a day that truly celebrated who they are as a couple. I feel so grateful to have been there to capture it all.
