I was lucky enough to witness Grace and Peter’s wedding at Bells at Killcare, and what a perfect day it was! The first day of autumn brought us clear blue skies and surprising warmth as everyone gathered for their afternoon ceremony.
The setting at Bells was just stunning – a beautiful lawn ceremony surrounded by those perfectly kept gardens. As the afternoon went on, the shadows grew longer, giving everyone a nice break from the heat. Grace and Peter kept things modern and romantic, with gorgeous yellow and blue flowers that matched perfectly with the bridesmaids in their different shades of blue.
One of the most touching moments was when Grace took time during the ceremony to remember to her mum, Janine. I’m not sure about anyone else, but I definitely had a lump in my throat.
I have to mention Peter’s bow tie story – he had three options ready because Grace thought his first choice was too big! Lucikly the groomsmen were they to help out with words of advice.
The whole day flowed so naturally from ceremony to reception. The food was incredible (seriously, that pork dish was amazing!), and the party really got going when the music started. Peter actually put together the playlist himself – turns out he used to be quite the DJ back in the day! What were those DJ names again?
Connor came all the way from Paris to be the MC, which made everything feel even more special. One of the nephews absolutely owned the dance floor, mesmerising everyone with those moves!
There’s something magical about celebrating love in such a beautiful place, surrounded by people who truly care. Grace and Peter’s day at Bells at Killcare wasn’t just pretty to look at – it was full of genuine moments, good food, great music, and so much happiness. Exactly what a wedding should be.
